Important Notes

In rare cases, we have been unable to insert a plasmid into the attP2 site, despite several injection attempts. We think the reason may be that the attP2 site has a basal expression that, for certain transgenes, is not tolerated by the animals (results in lethality).

If you have any indication (suspicion) that your transgene/construct might have a detrimental effect, we urge you to avoid attP2 and select another attP site.
